The Dahlia template set includes a 16 page full-color book with step-by-step instructions, five acrylic templates (which include the 1/4" seam allowance), and fabric grips. Pattern makes a 12" finished block. The possibilities are endless. Make single or double dahlias as well as square or octagon blocks. The transparent templates allow you to fussy-cut the petals. Shar recommends using a stiletto instead of your pointer finger to guide fabric in front of the needle when machine piecing. You won’t worry about pieces scooting to one side at the end of the seam.
